Stork Support hosts local, seasonal events throughout the year along with partnering with Homeward Alliance at their Family Resource Fairs to help meet families where they are at and distribute maternity and newborn gifts from the community to new families.

Family Resource Fair

What: We are partnering with Homeward Alliance and providing stuffed diaper bags at their next Family Resource Fair. These fairs are fun for the whole family and packed with important resources for anyone experiencing financial hardships.

Spring Stroller Event

Our 4th annual Spring Stroller Event was hosted March 2025 where we served 38 families! Together we distributed the following and we look forward to hosting this event again next year!

  • 27 strollers!
  • 203 nursing support accessories, baby gear items, baby Easter clothing, books and toys
  • 975 diapers, 33 packs of wipes, 23 tubes of diaper rash cream
  • 336 infant meals!

Summer Baby Love Event

Our 4th annual Summer Distribution Event was held June 2025 and we served 28 families (37 children) and distributed:

  • 53 baby swimwear and summer outfits
  • 50 swim diapers
  • 134 baby gear items, accessories, blankets, books and toys
  • 15 baby carriers and wraps
  • 60 baby bottles
  • 3 wearable breast pumps
  • 20 packs of milk storage bags
  • 5 monthly period kits
  • Countless maternity clothes
  • 10 Newborn Diaper Bags
  • 10 Toddler Transition Bags
  • 35 tubes of diaper rash cream
  • 27 packs of wipes
  • 925 diapers
  • 168 Infant Meals

Back to Cool! Cold-Weather Support

Our 4th annual Fall distribution event was held October 2025 and we served 49 families distributing:

  • 50 baby snowsuits
  • 38 baby holiday outfits
  • 20 baby booties
  • 136 baby blankets
  • 16 sleep sacks
  • 44 baby bottles
  • 50 infant feeding accessories
  • 16 baby carriers and wraps
  • 2,050 diapers
  • 45 packs of wipes
  • 24 tubes of diaper rash cream
  • 9 monthly period kits
  • 594 infant meals
  • 29 prepacked newborn diaper bags
  • 19 toddler transition bags

Virtual Angel Tree

Our Virtual Angel Tree is open to active Stork Support clients to sign up to be matched with a supporter family to help with Christmas gifts for their children. In 2025 we were able to match 80 families (236 children) with a local supporter for Christmas! This program is only open to Stork Support families and is not anonymous. Supporters act as Stork Support volunteers and connect with the families individually.

UPCOMING VOLUNTEER EVENTS

Diaper Bag Stuffing Party!

What: Throughout the year Stork Support hosts diaper bag drives to collect new and gently-used diaper bags from our community and all the essentials to stuff in them. After our drive we get together to stuff the bags with everything you need for a newborn when on the go along with our love.
Spring Newborn Diaper Bag and Toddler Transition Bag donation drive is coming soon! Stay tuned.

Donation Drop-Off Events

What: Join the team at FUMC Windsor to help sort, clean and organize incoming donations and help get them ready to redistribute to new families.

Virtual Angel Tree

Since 2020, Stork Support has hosted a Virtual Angel Tree to help ensure the children in our community have a Christmas.
